Wanna see a bit of the amazing salsa in New York?

New York is known to have the most amazing salsa scene in the world.

New York, the dance capitol of the world, has some of the finest dancers and teachers within salsa. This is in fact where the whole salsa craze started back in the days.

The best part about training in New York is going out in the evenings to the nightly socials where serious salsa addicts and top professionals alike share the floor as if it is a workout gym. No kidding! These people are ready to sweat! And several shirts later, you will still see them dance as if their life depend on it.

The female dancers of New York are know for their ability to spin at fast speed, the men are known for their amazing turn patterns and fast arm movements. Make no mistake about it; NY salsa dancing is fast and furious.

The Sunday Socials are like "Salsa Candy". There are very few chairs, most dancers are in the "hunt mode" waiting to get their next partner as soon as the song is over :)

Very often there will be live bands playing, and also there may be dance performances.
